Little Bear maintains a Board of Directors who are responsible for the approval and review of the annual budget, overseeing and approval of independent audits, and the ongoing review of Little Bear's financial well-being. The Board of Directors must be comprised of a minimum 51% parents of children in the center.
Our current Developmental Board is comprised of family members from the current group child care facility. They are currently overseeing and helping guide the process of opening a new location. We welcome applications for Board members!

Taanishii, Jade dishinihkaashoon ( hello, my name is Jade)
I am a proud Métis woman with faamii ties to the Red River and Chitek Lake, Saskatchewan. Currently, I’m in my final year of studies, working towards my Bachelor of Education. Throughout my educational journey, I’ve made it a priority to deepen my understanding of the rich beauty of my culture. Not only is my education deeply rooted in Métis history and culture, but so is my work. For the past three years, I have had the privilege of working with Gabriel Dumont Institute in Saskatoon, where I continue to be inspired by and contribute to the preservation of Métis heritage.
On my days off, I love spending time with my husband, daughter, and close family. We enjoy trips to the lake and quality time at the farm.
